One of a Kind show 2014

The One of a Kind show is in town this week, and I couldn't be more ecstatic.  It's the event that I look most forward to once spring finally settles in (and of course Christmas!).  I'm always inspired by the talented artisans, but most of all, the artwork of all the Etsy entrepreneurs.  If you want to take a look and see which shops will be at the show, click here and you'll be directed to a list on the One of a Kind show website. 

New Year, New Crafts

I couldn't wait for New Years Eve to arrive.  Not only because it's my birthday, but because I could spend time with all of my closest friends in one place and celebrate a wonderful year we shared together.  For New Years, I wanted to give my best girls a little gift for being amazing friends. 

I bought these martini glasses from Dollarama, along with the pink and clear gems.  The gems already included adhesive on the back so it was a matter of removing them from the plastic sheet and deciding where to place them on the martini glass. 

The crafty person that I am, I reused left over ribbon from recent weddings and bridal showers.  I always keep the ribbon wrapping around a gift box because you never know when you might need it!
